Co-op & Billing Coordinator
The Co-op & Billing Coordinator works closely with the Co-op & Billing Manager to facilitate all co-op billing to our publishing partners. Billing includes but is not limited to all publisher placement and pass-through, funding for promotions, seasonal markdowns, wholesaler funds, and expenses associated with Shopper’s Marketing. Works closely with the Shopper’s Marketing Specialists and Sales teams to facilitate.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Coordinates monthly billing under the direction of the Co-op & Billing Manager, including but not limited to:
- Verifying data for discrepancies and/or duplicates
- Creating trade allowance agreements in Microsoft D365/Finance & Operations system
- Logging invoice detail
- Assists Graphics & Marketing Specialist with ordering, receipt, and distribution process for all promotional signage, shelf talkers, and POP material. Completes all publisher billing and invoicing for signage.
- Act as liaison/coordinator between Accounting, Sales, and Shopper’s Marketing for managing customer claims.
- Assists with publisher co-op reporting.
- Completes weekly mailings as needed.
- Maintains all tracking logs as needed.
- Must be able to maintain high levels of accuracy and detail
- Must be able to work effectively with all departments, including Marketing, Sales, Finance, publishers, and vendors to ensure timely processing.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers (including publishers) and suppliers.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, including gathering of and analyzing information skillfully, and developing alternative solutions as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned, directed or requested.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
- Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is preferred.
- Strong Analytical skill is preferred.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and data.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Must be proficient in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Must have intermediate-level skills in finance, accounting, and mathematics.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- The work performed is in an office environment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels.
- Must be able to work independently on tactics and in high-functioning groups on strategic direction.
