The Medication Supported Recovery (MSR), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Corrections Health is primarily tasked with the administration of MSR medications (Subxone, Subutex) to incarcerated patients under supervision of a Community Health Nurse (CHN) and supervisor. The MSR LPN also will assist with reviewing MSR referrals, and refer to a nurse or providers as appropriate. Every employee shares the responsibility for promptly bringing to the County's attention conduct that interferes with providing a work environment free of illegal discrimination and harassment. The employee holding this position is designated as an Essential Employee under Multnomah County Personnel Rule 3-15-015, Essential Employees. This position is essential to the public health and safety, and required to report for duty regardless of County decisions to close or curtail other county operations.
